FSA, HRA and HSA Accounts
Consumer-directed health strategies provide a method of managing rising health care costs by involving the consumer (i.e., participant) in the health care purchasing decision. Fringe Benefit Services, Inc. administers consumer-directed plans including Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA), and Health Spending Accounts (HSA).
For these types of plans to be effective, participants need to have readily available access to their account activity. This can be achieved through our web based system which allows participants to view the following information about their accounts:
- Contribution amounts
- Rollover amounts (HRA's and HSA's)
- Account balance
- Date of activity
- Type of activity (claim, contribution, rollover)
- Amount of activity
- Claim number
- Incurred date of service
- Payee name
Although not healthcare related, Fringe Benefit Services, Inc. can also administer a Dependent Care Reimbursement Account in a FSA which can provide employees with substantial tax savings on dependent care expenses.
